Terms of Service
Last updated: April 30, 2026
Acceptance
By using MeltMate (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
The Service
MeltMate is a calculator that estimates gold value using a publicly-sourced spot price, your inputs, and your settings. It is provided as a tool, not as financial, investment, or trading advice.
Pricing accuracy — important
Spot prices are reference points sourced from third parties and may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. Always verify against your own live source before completing any transaction. MeltMate is not responsible for losses, missed profit, or disputes arising from reliance on displayed prices.
Your responsibility
- You are solely responsible for transactions you complete using MeltMate.
- You must comply with all laws applicable to gold buying, selling, and reporting in your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of inputs (weight, karat, payout %).
Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to break, scrape, or overload the Service.
- Don't use MeltMate for any illegal activity.
Intellectual property
MeltMate, the logo, and the underlying code are owned by us. The data you create stays yours.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeltMate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above.
