Privacy Policy

Short version

Your transactions and history live in your phone's local storage. MeltMate does not collect, sell, or share that data. We have no advertising trackers.

What we collect

• Email address — only if you join the Pro waitlist. Used to email you once when Pro launches.
• Anonymous request logs — when your phone fetches the live spot price, our server briefly logs the request for security and abuse prevention. No identifying information is attached.

What we do not collect

• Transaction details (weight, karat, payout, notes)
• GPS location — captured on your device only when you save a transaction
• Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or browser fingerprints

Cookies and trackers

MeltMate does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We may use minimal first-party storage to remember your settings.

Third-party services

• Spot-price provider — public gold-price feed. No personal data is sent.
• Hosting / backend — we use a managed hosting provider for the website. They may log standard request metadata for security.
• Future Pro tier — payment processing will be handled by industry-standard processors (e.g. Stripe). MeltMate never sees or stores card numbers.

Your rights

You can clear all MeltMate data from your phone any time using the in-app "Clear history" action or your browser's storage settings. To delete your waitlist email, email hello@meltmate.app.
